The Creek has come up and is hovering at around 200 CFS but the fishing has remained good and there are lots of fish! Bring your knee boots, it's pretty wet out there. There is a great Mayfly hatch between 11:30 and 1 and the fish actually get on them pretty good. It is an Infrequin, size 14 but they are taking most PMD patterns. There is a decent Caddis deal in the evenings on the calm water. With the water levels up and a little dirty there is little surface action, so we are allowing nymphing right now. Flash back pheasant tails and Olive scuds are working great but folks are doing well with red copper johns and prince nymphs as well. With all of the snow this past winter, we will be having some high water for a while, so bring all of your flies as we will be making the call on a daily basis as to what flies will be allowed. If the water drops and the fish are looking up, we will of course go to dry only. We are super happy to be open and seeing how many fish are in the creek this year!!
See you soon, Kevin and Lisa
